Capriole is an advanced classical dressage move. It means 'leap of a goat' and was initally taught for use in war to intimidate and demonstrate prowess. This powerful movement is captured in this piece which is mounted on a shard of spring steel allowing it to rock if caught in a breeze or touched, strong yet moving.
